The Connect SmartHome 4G Dual Camera with Solar Panel includes mobile data for the first year. After that period, the data must be recharged to continue using live view, recordings and alerts through the 4G connection.
Your camera uses 4G (no Wi-Fi) for live view, recordings and alerts. It comes with FREE data for the first year - top up after that to keep it working.
To recharge the data:
- Open the QR code scanner on your phone.
- Scan the Recharge 4G Data QR code on the camera or supplied QR code card.
- Open the recharge page - https://recharge.starcard.yiyiot.com/
- Write down the IMEI number shown on the page.
- Bookmark the page because it is unique to your camera.
- Set the currency to AUD (A$).
- Select a data plan.
- Tap Pay.
- Read and confirm the disclaimer.
- Enter your email address.
- Add your payment details and complete the payment.
The data should activate shortly after payment.
You can return to the bookmarked page later to check the remaining data balance or purchase another plan.
