Question: Does the Connect SmartHome 4G Dual Camera need Wi-Fi or a separate SIM card?

The Connect SmartHome 4G Dual Camera with Solar Panel connects through available 4G mobile networks and does not support Wi-Fi.

You do not need to purchase or insert a separate customer-supplied physical SIM card.

The camera includes mobile data for the first year. After the included period, additional data must be purchased using:

  • the unique Recharge 4G Data QR code on the camera or QR code card
  • the camera’s unique recharge page
  • the camera’s IMEI number

Keep the supplied QR code card in a safe place. The pairing and recharge codes are unique to your camera.
