Question: Why is my Connect Smart Deadbolt not responding or connecting to Wi-Fi or the app?

Answer:

  • Ensure batteries are fresh and correctly installed.

  • Confirm 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi is available (no 5 GHz networks).

  • Move your router closer or add a Wi-Fi extender.

  • Restart the lock and phone.

  • If still unresponsive, perform a factory reset and re-pair.
